What counts as a query?
Any read operation against LoamDB counts as a query — entity lookups, semantic searches, graph traversals, and RAG retrievals. Write operations (inserts, updates) are counted separately at 0.5x the query rate. Permission checks are always free.
How is storage metered?
Storage includes your raw data, vector embeddings, and indexes. Embeddings typically add 2–3x overhead on top of raw data. We measure at the database level, not the CSV upload size.
What happens when I exceed my limits?
No hard cutoffs. You'll get alerts at 80% and 100%. Additional queries are billed at $0.001/query (Pro) or $0.0005/query (Scale). Additional storage at $0.10/GB/month.
Can I self-host LoamDB?
Enterprise customers can deploy LoamDB on their own infrastructure. Contact us for self-hosted licensing and support options.
